A fun fact about your webmistress: I used to dance ballet!
I haven't danced since I was fairly young, but I miss it a lot. I regret the fact that I quit dancing, but it would be harder for me to start dancing again as an adult. So, instead, I sit around and fawn over pretty ballet pictures instead.
Look at these photos of the Willis from Giselle. The Willis are ghosts of scorned women in the ballet Giselle. It's an interesting idea, but the part that really fascinates me is their costumes! The veils over their heads and the flower crowns remind me of a modern wedding, but they also make me think of ancient Roman brides and their flammeum veils. If I was still dancing, this would be my dream role.
